News Flash

Although our animal issues are very few, the city council feels we must provide all we can to our residents who wish to walk peacefully around town.  Makoti residents, please remember to get your pets licensed at the bank!  Proof of rabies vaccination is required for licensure.  Those animals taken into possession will be housed at the Souris Valley Humane Society in Minot.   The owner of the dog taken into possession will then be responsible for the housing charges, transportation costs, any city fines and any vaccination charges the humane society deems necessary prior to release of the animal.
